In this blog were going to discuss the similarities and difference of doodle fiction, manga and graphic novel.
Differences
Doodle Fiction Hand scribed font and images. Doodle-Fiction A literary presentation where the author incorporates doodle drawings and hand written graphics in place of traditional font. Drawings enhance the story, often adding humorous elements that would be missing if the illustrations were omitted.
Manga a style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels, typically aimed at adults as well as children. manga is the Japanese word for comics published in Japan. The word itself is comprised of two characters: man 漫 meaning “whimsical” and ga 画 meaning “pictures.”
Graphic Novel is a format, not a genre. Graphic novels can be fiction, non-fiction, history, fantasy, or anything in-between. Graphic novels are similar to comic books because they use sequential art to tell a story. Unlike comic books, graphic novels are generally stand-alone stories with more complex plots. a novel in comic-strip format.
Similarities
All these literary styles incorporates drawings, images and pictures to give a better illustration of context. All these styles have less usage of words while pictures. A doodle contains hand drawn picture. Manga is similar to graphic novel, it is just a Japanese style of writing a graphical comic.
